Great news! Microgrid Labs (MGL) has been awarded not one, but five zero-emission fleet transition plan projects set to commence in 2023. This remarkable achievement highlights MGL’ expertise and leadership in providing innovative electrification solutions for the transportation sector. MGL will be completing the full plan for Brockton Area Transit (BAT). MGL will team with Planning Communities and ITLC to complete the transition plans for Grant Transit Authority (GTA), Everett Transit, Hall Area Transit, and Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA).
The zero-emission fleet transition plan projects aim to facilitate the shift from conventional fuel-powered vehicles to clean and sustainable alternatives, such as electric vehicles (EVs). MGL’s proven track record and commitment to driving the adoption of EVs have earned them this recognition and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the sustainability of fleet operations.
By being awarded these projects, MGL will leverage EVOPT and work closely with organizations to develop comprehensive and customized plans for transitioning their fleets to zero-emission vehicles. This includes evaluating technical and financial feasibility, identifying suitable EV models, establishing charging infrastructure, and developing implementation timelines.
The five projects serve as a testament to the trust and confidence placed in MGL’s ability to deliver impactful and scalable solutions. By partnering with organizations committed to sustainable transportation, MGL will help pave the way for a greener future, reducing carbon emissions and improving air quality.
This recognition comes at an opportune time as the world recognizes the urgency of addressing climate change and transitioning to cleaner energy sources. MGL expertise and dedication to driving sustainable transportation solutions position them at the forefront of this critical movement.
We congratulate MGL on securing these five zero-emission fleet transition plan projects and eagerly anticipate the positive impact they will make in 2023 and beyond. Their continued efforts in revolutionizing the transportation sector contribute significantly to creating a more sustainable and environmentally friendly world. Stay tuned for updates on their progress and the transformative outcomes of these projects!
